Le Tchadien, originally released in 2008 on Mr Raoul Ks critically acclaimed 12inch Himalaya, gets the DoubleK (Mr Raoul K & Kaito) treatment. While the original track was a rather short and lush piece of afro-funk fuelled house, the reprise explores some whole new territories. Soon after the relaxing intro the track takes a sharp turn that leads listeners and dancers into foggy darkness. But instead losing itself and all hope, DoubleK show that there is light and hope even behind the darkest shadows. Its all about keeping your composure and keeping your head up.
