Vinyl LP repressing of this 1992 album, released to coincide with the album's 20th Anniversary. Pi*ed off and angry is the best way to describe Rage Against the Machine's first album. A fierce mix of hip-hop, punk & heavy rock exploded all over the music scene in 1992. At first sight an unlikely band; Tom Morello, a nerdy guitar hero who played his guitar like a DJ, political activist Zack de la Rocha who spitted out his lyrics with a vengeance. Together with Brad Wilk on drums and Tim C. on bass they produced one of the most angry records of 90's. The album even contained, dare we say it, hit singles like 'Killing in the name of' and 'Bullet in the head'. Put the needle on the record and get blown away (again) !

Album number five from legendary British post-punk and New Wavers The Clash was first unveiled on 14th May 1982. 40 years on it finds itself the centre of attention once more, re-released both in this original version and an extended edition with bonus record The People's Hall. Sticking to this outing, fans will likely already know that the record as it was first intended remains the band's most successful of all time, outselling all that came before or after and charting higher than any other in the US and UK alike.Respectively hitting number seven and number two in the charts of the day, and spending 23 weeks in the top 40 albums in Britain and a mammoth 61 weeks in the LP league tables Stateside, today it's a double-platinum testament to just how potent the combination of Joe Strummer, Mick Jones, Paul Simonon and Topper Headon was. The last record to feature that iteration of the outfit, tracks like 'Rock the Casbah' and 'Should I Stay Or Should I Go' remain utterly timeless.
Do you ever wonder what it was really like? What was your favourite childhood memory? And what did you want to be when you grew up?I brought something for you. Something homespun and charming, sweet and starry-eyed. Something which holds a certain cuteness and even a certain brashness between its vulnerability and fright. It reminds me of the girl with the strawberry hair: puppyish but not puppy-eyed, effervescent yet sincere; trying and falling as the days go by.Don't open it yet. There's beauty in its brevity but time goes too quickly. Assurance in dreams but inconstancy in all else, our memories of Marineville all but forgotten. We can run away with it, be alone with it and keep its wistfulness for ourselves.Summerdays spent on 53rd and 3rd; popkisses shared under blue suburban skies. Fleeting autumnal nights when we were left in the rain. I think It's unashamedly lovelorn and I'm so bookish and shy.I thought you'd like it.
