After some time fostering the birth of Melbourne/Naarm’s Solace Bar & Club, circuit|breaker returns with the last offering in our initial run of three Various Artists releases: CBRK003. As always, our focus is razor sharp on cultivating connection, between our home and the global artistic domain. With our third release, we bring you five of the boldest talents, both emerging and established, that are sure to set the standard for forward-thinking electronic music.

Tamara Radosevic, an artist with an ensuing legacy as one of Sydney’s most versatile DJs, opens up 003 with a brooding ambient number on ‘First Encounter’. For the A2, Berlin-based titan Metapattern collaborates with the local NOFCE on an exhilarating, barbed-wire-tinged track, as they present ‘Population III’. Taking the release interplanetary and to complete the A-side, BERGA commands intricate and weaving synth lines with ‘Idle’.

The B-side, as scheduled, moves onto two international behemoths. Casual Treatment goes into a mind-melting dimension, as ghostly samples pan left and right on ‘Power Plant’, while 1morning does what he does best, compressing the B2 into a gritty rage with ‘War Road’.
